Acacia inks patent license deal with Aware

Patent holding company Acacia Research and its Hospital Systems subsidiary have signed a patent license agreement with imaging software developer Aware of Bedford, MA.

The agreement covers a portfolio of patents related to PACS technology and settles the parties' dispute pending in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, according to Acacia of Newport Beach, CA.
