Acacia licenses PACS patents to NovaRad

RIS and PACS vendor NovaRad of American Fork, UT, has licensed patents related to PACS technology from patent holding company Acacia Research of Newport Beach, CA, and its Hospital Systems subsidiary.

The agreement resolves a court dispute that was pending in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
