PACS vendor CoActiv Medical Systems of Ridgefield, CT, has released its next-generation Exam-PACS version 2.1.
New features include CoActiv Auto-Synch, designed to automatically synchronize image display across multiple overlapping image stacks. The application would be used when a radiologist simultaneously displays an image series formatted with several different window and level settings and wants to compare the same slice with various viewing parameters.
The new version of Exam-PACS is also compatible with the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system.
