PACS technology developer Sorna of Eagan, MN, unveiled upgrades to its eXpedo software product line at the 2008 Society for Imaging Informatics in Medicine (SIIM) meeting in Seattle.
eXpedo features Sorna's DISCflow Profiles, which automate DICOM CD/DVD production. Version 2.6 allows users to optimize DISC-burning hardware, the company said.
Sorna has also entered into a licensing agreement with Cleveland-based MIMvista that allows that company's MIMviewer DICOM CD for PET, PET/CT, and SPECT viewing to be embedded on CDs and DVDs created by Sorna's eXpedo publishing systems, according to Sorna.
