Speech recognition and transcription technology provider MedQuist said it has added enhanced integration between its SpeechQ for Radiology speech recognition system and PACS software products from various OEMs.
The new functionality allows for enhanced bidirectional ability, bidirectional messaging, streamlined login and logout for radiologists, and improved workflow for report creation, according to the Mount Laurel, NJ-based vendor. The first PACS software to be able to take advantage of the new integration capability is iSite from Philips Healthcare of Andover, MA, MedQuist said.
