Richardson debuts new LCD, calibration service

Display provider Richardson Electronics has introduced Image Systems FP4200MED, a 42-inch medical-grade LCD.

Designed for use in surgical suites, operating rooms, endoscopy suites, cath labs, emergency rooms, and other specialty areas, FP4200MED features 1920 x 1080 HD resolution, 500-nit brightness, and 1000:1 contrast ratio, according to the LaFox, IL-based firm. It also includes an acrylic protective panel that's integrated into the bezel, Richardson said.

In other Richardson news, the company has introduced a new onsite technical service for medical imaging displays. The service, provided through Richardson's TekLink support services program, will provide healthcare facilities with conformance, calibration, testing, and maintenance of medical imaging displays, according to the vendor.
