Canadian display controller board provider Matrox Graphics launched a new 4-megapixel display controller board at last week's Society for Computer Applications in Radiology (SCAR) meeting in Austin, TX.
The Matrox MED4mp display controller board is designed to support recent 4-megapixel display technology and can be used in various environments, such as in orthopedic, point-of-care, and private practice environments, or as a replacement for two 2-megapixel displays. It includes color and grayscale modes, and supports analog and digital displays, according to the company.
At the SCAR show, a MED4mp board was incorporated into a mobile point-of-care station using a Dome E4c color display from Planar Systems of Waltham, MA.
