Neurostar lands Emory install

PACS firm Neurostar Solutions has signed a deal to install its Virtual Radiology Network (VRN) at Emory University in Atlanta.

Emory will use VRN as part of a major expansion of its teleradiology services, according to Neurostar, also of Atlanta. Under the configuration, Web-enabled PCs in Emory's network will download Neurostar's thin-client application, while an Emory-owned short-term archive will store studies for up to 30 days in the Neurostar archiving center.
