The Ferrania UK division of Italian PACS vendor Ferrania Imaging Technologies has installed its LifeWeb TraumaCad orthopedic templating software at eight NHS Trust hospitals in the U.K.
TraumaCad is designed to be used within any PACS environment for orthopedic surgery planning, and enables orthopedic departments to operate filmlessly using the DICOM query/retrieve module. Completed planned images can be sent for permanent storage via the DICOM store service. Ferrania UK distributes the software for Orthocrat of Israel.
