Toshiba taps ultrasound director

Toshiba America Medical Systems has named Tomo Hasegawa director of its ultrasound business unit.

Before coming to the Tustin, CA-based vendor, Hasegawa most recently served as director of strategic marketing for compact-ultrasound developer SonoSite, where he focused on developing strategic growth initiatives. In his new position, he will interact with Toshiba's global business unit at Toshiba Medical Systems in Japan to communicate the needs and requirements of the U.S. market, according to the company.
