Mach7 develops app to split image studies

PACS software developer Mach7 Technologies of Burlington, VT, has developed an image-splitting application for use at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

The company's Keystone Study Split Utility (SSU) is designed to enable radiologic technologists to accurately split multiregion CT and MRI scans into anatomic regions that match the original exam orders from the RIS. The application reduces the time required for newly split studies to be sent to the PACS, according to the company.
