AccessNet PACS 6.4 also includes simple security support (SSL) for its MedView software, providing for the access or sending of protected health information over wide area networks to remote radiologists or referring physicians, Aspyra said.

Aspyra also has added support for removable hard drives, CDs, and DVDs on its AccessServer archive.

In other RSNA introductions, Aspyra will present its All-in-One PACS and RIS/PACS offerings. The package includes a server, a Web server, a primary online RAID 6 archive, secondary DVD storage, system back-up DVDs, and a patient CD creator.
