Medweb

Medweb will add several products to its portfolio at the meeting.

Advanced 3D Web PACS automatically autosegments bone, vessels, and organs using built-in or user-created templates, according to the San Francisco-based firm. Vessel fly-through and diameter calculations are also available.

In addition, users can create specific 3D views or movies that can be added to a study, Medweb said. Advanced 3D Web PACS also includes DICOM workflow tools, speech recognition, dictation, and an HL7 routing engine.

The server provides 3D templating and imaging to hospital desktops, and integrates with all major HIS/RIS vendors; users can also utilize one of two RIS options, Medweb said.

In other introductions, Medweb will be discussing its Global Teleradiology Support Node (GTSN). GTSN provides a single point of access for monitoring and maintaining a network of Medweb servers and their attached DICOM devices, PACS, or modalities, according to the vendor.

Via GTSN, support technicians can have direct, secure access to modalities for service, maintenance, and upgrades, Medweb said. Enterprise-wide autoupgrades help keep systems secure and HIPAA-compliant, according to the firm.

Medweb will also release version 2.0 of its Radiology Dashboard offering. The new release features workload balancing across multiple radiologists and client sites and reduced cost, as well as streamlined multisite reading, dictation, and workflow with a single login/password, according to company. Medweb has also incorporated built-in instant messaging capability.
