Ferrania will show version 4.0 of its LifeWeb OnNet Web server.
The new release distributes, displays, and processes medical images wherever they are required, according to the Cairo Montenotte, Italy-based firm. It also includes DICOM structured reporting, modality worklist, and modality performed procedure step (MPSS), as well as 3D reconstruction with maximum intensity projection (MIP) and multiplanar reformatting (MPR).
When accessed with Internet Explorer, the browser is automatically configured to provide appropriate viewing features, according to the vendor. Other features include system failover and autoreport query capabilities, as well as the creation of patient CD/DVDs with a built-in viewing application.
The software also includes data encryption, Ferrania said. OnNet Version 4.0 is available now.
