StorComm

StorComm will highlight its AccessRad RIS/PACS network.

A combined RIS/PACS and dictation package, AccessRad is suitable for small to large radiology departments, large imaging centers, and multispecialty clinics with large radiology departments, according to the Jacksonville, FL, company.

StorComm, which is scheduled to merge with clinical information systems developer Creative Computer Applications (CCA), will promote AccessRad's Continuous Encounter Flow workflow capabilities and its Radiologist's Command Center for interpretations and Web-based reporting. AccessRad runs on a standard Microsoft, Web-based platform.

The company will also feature version 6.0 of its AccessNet PACS and report production tool. The package is now a Web-based PACS offering, with built-in dictation and full report production and distribution capabilities, according to the firm.

StorComm will also point to AccessMed Ortho, a Web distribution-based PACS offering designed for orthopedists and other subspecialists. It includes features such as orthopedic templates and image stitching, StorComm said.
