ScImage will focus on developments to its PICOMEnterprise PACS offering.
The Web-based PICOMEnterprise includes a built-in advanced visualization suite for comparative multiplanar reformatting (MPR), maximum intensity projections (MIP), oblique slicing, and PET/CT fusion, according to the Los Altos, CA-based vendor.
A universal integration toolkit aids integration with third-party RIS/EMR products, while ScImage's OnDemand TelePACS package enables smaller imaging centers and community hospitals to initiate digital imaging without large capital outlays, the vendor said.
PICOMEnterprise also provides department-specific tools for cardiology and orthopedics on the same system, ScImage said.
