Fuji will highlight the expansion of its Synapse PACS software into new areas of the radiology practice.

In addition, Fuji said it would demonstrate technologies that provide users with new methods for achieving consistent clinical outcomes and positive business metrics. Also on display: Fuji's reading protocol technology designed to aid navigation and interpretation of complicated imaging exams.

The Stamford, CT-based vendor will also spotlight its Synapse multimodality breast imaging workstation configuration, which permits the diagnostic display, analysis, and interpretation of Fuji CR for Mammography (FCRm) or any other full-field digital mammography (FFDM) studies.

Employing FDA-approved display technology, the workstation package can also serve as a diagnostic workstation for breast MR and ultrasound studies, Fuji said.
