(Booth 5413) QStar will highlight its SntryPACS offering and SntryStr archive appliance.

Targeted at smaller clinics and hospitals, SntryPACS includes a PACS diagnostic viewer, DICOM server, and archive storage in one package, according to the Mary Esther, FL-based firm. SntryPACS' user interface allows for the entry of patient information and scheduling of imaging studies; it also supports enterprise-wide viewing of images and reports.

A template-based reporting module enables the creation of customized templates for different study types, and allows users to add images to reports, QStar said. Other features include the ability to support image acquisition from both DICOM and non-DICOM sources, an image-routing component, and a storage module for writing images and reports to CDs, DVDs, or Blu-ray disks with a built-in DICOM viewer.

SntryPACS can also archive to any storage media and print images on DICOM printers, QStar said. Availability is expected in the first quarter of 2008.

QStar will also present its SntryStr PACS network-attached storage (NAS) appliance. An integrated PACS storage appliance that scales from 1 TB to 56 TB of storage capacity, SntryStr can be deployed as standalone disk storage or to consolidate existing hardware systems, QStar said. It allows users to continue use of their DVD, magneto-optical (MO) drive, and tape libraries, while providing new NAS storage, the company said.

In other product developments, QStar will showcase SntryML, a secure e-mail archive appliance.
