Display firm Eizo has debuted RadiForce RX650, a 30-inch color 6-megapixel (MP) LCD suitable for multimodality applications.

The 6-MP screen offers enough space to display numerous applications at once and can replace a dual 3-MP setup, according to the company. The firm said its Hybrid Gamma feature enables both monochrome and color images to be viewed at individually optimized brightness levels and tones.

An integrated front sensor (IFS) within the front bezel provides hands-free quality control calibration, while the display's LED mercury-free backlight yields a high typical brightness of 400 cd/m2, Eizo said.

Eizo will showcase RX650 at the upcoming RSNA 2013 in Chicago. Availability is expected in March 2014.
