Cloud computing firm Zadara and RIS firm AbbaDox are collaborating on a PACS-as-a-service product.
Providers can procure computing power and storage specifically tailored for their own consumption in a private, cloud setting colocated near their physical site, the firms said. The collaboration makes rapid implementation of enterprise PACS solutions possible for various use cases such as teleradiology, distributed radiology, main PACS, and disaster recovery PACS, they added. Plus, the product removes complexities with managing hardware refreshes and licensing backups.
AbbaDox and Zadara are showcasing the new product at RSNA 2021 in Chicago.
