Carestream scores 2 major contracts

Carestream Health of Rochester, NY, has been awarded a contract worth a maximum of $10 million from the U.S. Department of Defense for the company's PACS and related subsystems and components.

Under terms of the agreement, Carestream technology can be purchased by the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and federal civilian agencies.

Carestream Health also recently was awarded a sole-source PACS service agreement for the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), based in Bethesda, MD. The organization incorporates 27 different institutes and centers.
