PACSHealth awarded Australian contract

PACS monitoring software developer PACSHealth of Scottsdale, AZ, will install its PACSHealth system at hospitals in the South Eastern Sydney Illawarra Area Health Service (SESIAHS) in Australia.

SESIAHS will integrate PACSHealth with its Centricity 2.1 PACS from Chalfont St. Giles, U.K.-based GE Healthcare to provide real-time event monitoring, historical performance trending, and interactive audit log capabilities.

In a subsequent deployment, PACSHealth technology will be rolled out to the central and northern sectors of SESIAHS, incorporating all 11 hospitals' radiology departments.
