Scan.com has secured $220 million in combined equity and debt financing to expand its medical imaging network across the U.S.
The firm said it will use the funds to invest in AI and application programming interface (API) infrastructure for patient scheduling and diagnostics. The company's platform connects patients, doctors, and imaging centers, using AI to match patients to centers based on availability, quality, and price and to handle scheduling, paperwork, and results delivery, according to the company. Results are typically returned within 48 hours, Scan.com said.
The $90 million equity component was a series C round led by Noteus Partners, with participation from Aviva, Concord Health Partners, YZR Capital, and Oxford Capital. VerisFi Capital and Atempo Growth provided $130 million in debt facilities, the company noted.
