(Booth 6215) Nuance Communications of Burlington, MA, will display new versions of its speech recognition reporting products, PowerScribe 5.0 and RadWhere 3.0.
RadWhere 3.0 enables radiology departments to manage multisite workflow patterns and customized data capture requirements for more efficient case routing throughout the organization. RadWhere 3.0 is equipped with an updated radiology dictionary, improved administrative functionality, and custom data entry capabilities.
Nuance will emphasize PowerScribe 5.0's and RadWhere 3.0's integration with the company's Veriphy and RadCube for Radiology packages, linking the speech recognition tools with these audited reporting and analysis products.
Expect Nuance to promote its latest acquisition, Vienna, Austria-based Philips Speech Recognition Systems, whose SpeechMagic engine powers a variety of other companies' offerings. Nuance picked up the business in early October. Last year, Nuance added Focus Informatics, Vocada, and Commissure to its corporate repertoire through acquisitions.
Nuance also will feature its Dragon Medical 10 real-time medical speech recognition software, which it released in September. The latest offering includes new medical vocabularies, improved integration with electronic medical record systems, enhanced regional accent support, and customizable commands, such as Voice Shortcuts and DragonTemplates.
