Artificial intelligence (AI) software developer AI Metrics has appointed Bob Jacobus as CEO and Dr. Andrew Smith as chief medical officer.
Initially the company's CEO, Smith, a radiologist and oncology imager at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, also will continue as chairman of the board. Jacobus was AI Metrics' chief operating officer and has more than 20 years of experience in founding, investing, and raising capital for startups.
