Nano-X Imaging (Nanox) and Keiser University are partnering to use Nanox's Nanox.ARC digital tomosynthesis imaging system for teaching healthcare students.
Nanox.ARC 3D will be incorporated into Keiser University’s radiologic technology graduate program at its Sarasota, FL, campus and will be deployed for training sessions, including live demonstrations, Nanox said. Physicians, radiology technicians, and local medical imaging providers will also have access to the system, the firm added.
Nanox.ARC uses a digital x-ray source and 3D imaging with cold cathode technology; it was designed to produce a detailed, layered view of the body with reduced patient radiation exposure and shorter reading times than CT, Nanox said.
