(Booth 5931) Fovia of Palo Alto, CA, plans to use the RSNA stage to highlight the third generation of its High Definition Volume Rendering (HDVR) software, which the company provides to medical imaging OEMs to enable them to incorporate 3D visualization into their own products.
Fovia will highlight how HDVR employs thin-client architecture on both off-the-shelf desktop and networked laptop computers, without specialized hardware or video cards. The company will also demonstrate HDVR's ability to render extremely large datasets, and to render datasets remotely.
The software supports Windows, Macintosh, and Unix operating systems, and has been designed to take advantage of the newest multicore processors. It functions in both 32- and 64-bit environments.
