MR Angiography for the Technologist

MR angiography (MRA) is a collective term that encompasses a variety of techniques to visualize vascular anatomy. Using noncontrast and contrast-enhanced techniques, MRA has become a powerful tool in diagnosing vascular pathology. A successful MRA program requires the MR technologist to demonstrate competency in the proper selection and optimization of MRA sequences.
