The course will emphasize the principles, clinical applications, and latest advances of cardiac CT imaging. The faculty comprises cardiac radiologists and cardiologists from the Friedrich-Alexander University Hospital in Erlangen-Nuremberg and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, as well as outside experts in the field of cardiac imaging. Advanced imaging tools for cardiac-gated CT imaging are developing rapidly. This course will present an update regarding CT capabilities, imaging protocols, and clinical applications. It is designed to assist you in applying these techniques, enhancing your clinical practice skills and providing you with insights on current and future developments. The course format is a combination of lectures, hands-on phantom scanning, live patient scanning, 3D hands-on postprocessing workshops, and case reviews.
