Arab Health: Plans move ahead for Arab School of Radiology
DUBAI - New details have emerged about the Arab School of Radiology (ASOR). The official launch is now scheduled for the 7th Pan Arab Radiology Congress, to be held in Doha, Qatar, on 17-21 April, and in September ASOR will stage a three-day workshop in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on breast imaging.

ICR 2014 to switch from Egypt to Dubai
Ongoing security concerns and travel restrictions in Egypt have forced the organizers of next year's International Congress of Radiology (ICR) to change the location from Sharm El Sheikh to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The meeting is now likely to be held in early September, instead of May as planned.

Middle East respiratory syndrome spreads in Europe
A total of 90 confirmed cases of Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS) have now been reported worldwide, including 45 deaths. All patients have been linked to four Middle Eastern countries, but cases have also emerged in Europe, researchers report in an article in Lancet Infectious Diseases.
