Xograph Imaging Systems of Gloucestershire, U.K., has introduced a three-module PACS product for orthopedic surgeons. The software, OrthoPro Template, OrthoPro Wear, and OrthoPro Outcome, is designed to work alongside existing Xograph PACS products, the vendor said.
The application is designed to assist surgeons in planning prosthesis implantations, guide orthopedic clinicians to measure and keep track of radiological outcomes of implants, and also to help determine implant wear. In addition, the product offers a library of differently sized digital prosthetic templates that can be superimposed over a digital x-ray image.
The template is automatically scaled correctly to a patient’s image. All major manufacturers’ digital orthopedic templates are supported, and new ones can be updated into the software, Xograph said.
