Hologic has posted mixed preliminary financial results for the first quarter of its fiscal 2024.
For the period (end-December 30), Hologic noted that it expects to report overall revenues of approximately $1 billion, down 5.7% compared to $1.5 billion for the same period in 2023.
The company expects revenue in the firm's Diagnostics division to drop by 19.9%, from $559.3 million in the same period in 2023 to $447.8 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2024.
On the Breast Health side, it expects revenues increase by 13%, from $334.2 million in 2023 to $377.7 million for the first quarter of 2024. The company predicts its Skeletal Health business revenue will decrease by 4.5%, from $26.6 million in 2023 to $25.4 million in the first quarter of 2024.
Hologic plans to release its full financial results for the first quarter on February 1, it said.
