Medical software developer Densitas said it will launch its densitasquality mammography quality assessment software through TeleMammography Specialists in Decatur, GA.

TeleMammography Specialists is a teleradiology services provider focused on breast imaging and will be the first U.S. beta user for the densitasquality software.

The software relies on machine-learning tools to facilitate the documentation and communication process involved with meeting mammography quality assurance guidelines. It can support the delivery of quality assurance in several ways, including streamlining preparations for inspections, identifying technologist performance issues, and enabling real-time feedback between physicians and technologists.

A normal mammogram confirmed by three-year radiologic follow-up illustrates reader-marked regions of interest (ROIs) during (A) unaided (round 1) and (B) artificial intelligence (AI)–assisted (round 2) reading.
