ACR releases updated digital mammography QC manual

The American College of Radiology (ACR) has released an updated version of its 2016 Digital Mammography Quality Control Manual.

The manual helps users develop and implement quality control (QC) programs for digital mammography equipment, and it outlines the responsibilities of radiologists, radiologic technologists, and medical physicists, according to the college.

All facilities accredited by the ACR are eligible for a free download of the manual, the ACR said.
