In its RSNA booth, Linköping, Sweden-based Sectra will feature its Sectra MicroDose Mammography full-field digital system, designed for high-volume screening environments.
The system features photon-counting tomosynthesis, which delivers high image quality and low radiation, according to Sectra. The tomosynthesis package has none of the standard reconstruction artifacts associated with full-field digital mammography units that use flat-panel detectors, because there is no scatter radiation; it produces no electronic noise, no ghost images, and requires only a single exposure, the company said.
Sectra will also highlight its Breast Imaging PACS, with multimodality breast imaging workstation.
