GE Lunar plans to display two bone densitometers, Prodigy Advance and DPX Duo, as well as what it calls computer-assisted densitometry (CAD).

Gelunar Wom Prodigy Advance has been upgraded, and features 10-second scan times and hip strength analysis. DPX Duo combines a fully functional exam table with osteoporosis assessment. DPX Duo includes SmartScan DXA technology and computer-assisted densitometry, which flags potential errors and works to improve measurement consistency.

Finally, GE Lunar will present Applause, a portable, in-office MRI unit that the company hopes will help clinicians find disease earlier and monitor it more effectively. Applause features a 0.2-tesla magnet and a field-of-view of 50 x 75 mm; it does not require special wiring or shielding, according to the Madison, WI-based vendor.
