Radnostix acquires Lara System, Ellexa software from Lucerno

Radnostix has acquired key assets from Lucerno Dynamics, including the Lara System technology platform, Ellexa Explorer software, and associated intellectual property for monitoring radiopharmaceutical administration.

The Lara System is designed to identify and reduce extravasations of intravenously administered radiopharmaceuticals, with a real-time visualization feature allowing clinicians to detect extravasations as they occur. The system has been used in nearly 50,000 administrations at centers across Australia, Singapore, Japan, Europe, and the U.S., Lucerno Dynamics said.

The acquired intellectual property also covers applications in radiopharmaceutical uptake monitoring, dosimetry, quantification, and integration with auto-infusion drug delivery systems. Radnostix said it plans to develop the technology into new product offerings for radiopharmaceutical and nuclear medicine applications.
