RefleXion Medical will showcase multiple clinical abstracts and its technology at the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) 2021 annual meeting, October 24-27, in Chicago.
The company will show its RefleXion X1 machine, which combines PET/CT with radiation for cancer treatment. The machine is cleared for the delivery of stereotactic body radiotherapy, stereotactic radiosurgery, and intensity-modulated radiotherapy. The company is also developing biology-guided radiation therapy (BgRT), which uses PET data to target tumors continuously.
The abstracts being presented at ASTRO will evaluate the potential use and utility of the company's technologies in cancer detection and treatment.
