
Radiation therapy developer Akesis has named Gerry Vantellingen as its new president.
Vantellingen has served in various positions with radiation oncology providers for the past three decades. He began his career as a radiation therapist, Akesis said.
The company also announced that it is highlighting its Akesis Galaxy rotating gamma system and its work-in-progress Akesis Gemini360 system at the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) virtual annual meeting being held from October 24-28.
