Radiation oncology vendor Elekta has signed a distribution agreement with radiation oncology and nuclear medicine software developer DOSIsoft.
Elekta will be the sole distributor of three of DOSIsoft's patient quality assurance (QA) offerings: MU2net, EPIbeam, and EPIgray.
MU2net performs an independent dose check for treatment workflows, including for Elekta Unity, the company's MR-linac. EPIbeam enables phantom-less pretreatment QA, while electronic portal imaging device (EPID)-based EPIgray provides a safety check for every treatment, Elekta said.
