Radiation therapy firm Varian Medical Systems completed the installation of the cyclotron for its ProBeam single-room proton therapy system at Hefei Ion Medical Center in China.
The medical center will house three proton therapy treatment rooms that contain 360-degree rotating gantries, as well as a fixed-beam treatment room and a research room, according to the vendor.
