
A South Korean patient has received the country's first treatment using radiation oncology firm Varian Medical Systems' Halcyon radiotherapy system.
Korea University Medical Center Anam Hospital in Seoul used the system to treat a patient with liver cancer, the company said. The hospital also used Varian's Aria oncology information system and Eclipse treatment planning software.
