Radiation oncology firm Varian Medical Systems has partnered with Komazawa University to create a new advanced radiotherapy education center in Japan.
Located on the Komazawa campus in Tokyo, the education center is equipped with a Varian TrueBeam medical linear accelerator and offers educational courses for medical professionals and students on the planning and delivery of advanced radiotherapy.
The educational courses will use the TrueBeam system integrated with the company's oncology and radiotherapy software, including the Eclipse treatment planning system, and the ARIA oncology information system.
