Women's health firm AccuBoost has won a contract for its mammography-guided noninvasive brachytherapy technology from Bon Secours Cancer Institute in Norfolk, VA.
AccuBoost's brachytherapy treatment is designed for patients with early-stage breast cancer, according to the company. It can be used as a boost to the tumor bed or as a monotherapy option for accelerated partial-breast irradiation (APBI).
