Radiation oncology firm Elekta has received a $25 million order from the government of China for its Leksell Gamma Knife Perfexion stereotactic radiosurgery systems.
Elekta will deliver seven units in the largest single order ever for its Leksell Gamma Knife systems.
In other new customer news, Elekta said it has sold a Versa HD linear accelerator to Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center in Baltimore.
