Radiation oncology firm Elekta has announced that Pulitzer Prize winner Dr. Siddhartha Mukherjee, PhD, will give the keynote address at its 2013 Elekta Oncology Users Meeting (EOUM).
Mukherjee will speak on September 21 prior to the American Society for Radiation Oncology's (ASTRO) annual meeting. Mukherjee is a cancer physician, researcher, and author of the Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer. He will present the natural history of cancer at the meeting.
Mukherjee is an assistant professor of medicine at Columbia University and a cancer physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
