Proton therapy developer Mevion Medical Systems has delivered a superconducting synchrocyclotron accelerator to the University of Oklahoma.
The accelerator is for the S250 proton therapy system currently being installed at the university's Peggy and Charles Stephenson Cancer Center, according to the firm. Mevion said this is the third single-room S250 proton therapy system it has delivered.
