Radiation oncology firm Accuray announced that Hospital Dr. Domingo Luciani in Caracas is the first hospital in Venezuela to use its CyberKnife robotic radiosurgery system.
The hospital began using CyberKnife in July 2012 to treat patients diagnosed with prostate cancer, gliomas, and sarcomas.
Hospital Dr. Domingo Luciani, also called General Hospital East, is one of the hospitals of the Venezuelan Institute of Social Security (IVSS).
