Radiation oncology firm Elekta raised a total of $52,200 for Facing Cancer Together (FCT) at this week's American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) annual meeting in Boston.
FCT is nonprofit organization in the Boston area that guides individuals through the challenges of cancer. It offers a range of services and professionally facilitated programs, including support groups, expressive arts programming, and mind-body wellness groups.
The donation came from proceeds from ticket sales and a silent auction at Elekta's Charity Bash, held at the Harvard Club of Boston.
