Radiopharmaceutical provider Ion Beam Applications (IBA) has signed a memorandum of understanding with Changhua Christian Hospital in Taiwan for the installation of its Proteus One single-room compact proton therapy system.
Changhua Christian Hospital, IBA, and Chiu Ho Medical Systems, IBA's agent in Taiwan, all signed the agreement in Taipei. IBA expects a purchase agreement to become effective in the first part of 2013, and to deliver the equipment to the hospital in 2014.
